【摘要】:ThisTechnicalReportoutlinesanumberoftestproceduresthatcanbeusedforinvestigatingtheinteractionsthatcouldoccurbetweenthedeployingairbagandtheoccupantwhoisnearthemoduleatthetimeofdeployment.Staticanddynamicteststoinvestigatebothdriverandpassengersystemsaredescribed.Comparativeevaluationofthedesignscanbeconductedusingstatictests.Favorablesystemsmaybeevaluated,ifdeemednecessary,byappropriatedynamictests.ChildrenandinfantsrestrainedinchildorinfantsseatsarethesubjectofanotherTechnicalReport[20].
